About CC Designs:
CC Designs began as Berretín Apparel in 2003 when Carrie noticed the lack of functional clothing with style for men and women who tango.
After talking with several tangueros and tangueras, Carrie found that most dancers want to be able to throw their clothes in the washer and dryer (no dry cleaning), or into their backpacks, and have them come out ready to go, no need to iron. They also want clothes that are versatile, like pants that are comfortable enough to wear to a practica, but also move well for milongas, and are nice enough to perform in. They should be lightweight so they don't weigh you down for the all-nighters, and breathable so they won't cause you to overheat in the middle of a great set.
Oh, and not too expensive, either.
It's a long wish list and pretty much impossible to find off the rack.
So, after several unsuccessful searches through department stores, used clothing
stores, and specialty dance stores, Carrie finally decided to put her costume design
and tailoring skills to use and made the perfect pair of pants to try to satisfy all of the
above. The result - hand-made, wrinkle resistant, machine washable/dry-able, lightweight,
breathable pants made from soft and flowing fabrics.
Enjoy!
